Festival of the Sun is a beach-side, indie music festival that has captured the imagination of local music fans. Besides a star-studded lineup of Australian artists like Vera Blue, Pond, Mild West and Methyl Ethel, FOTSUN, as it is affectionately called, also features silent discos, food trucks, free workshops and silent comedy spectaculars. Each year, the festival takes on a different fun and festive theme, inviting the audience to let their imaginations run wild and dress up in inventive costumes. FOTSUN is one of the region's largest BYO festivals and also offers a spacious campground where the festivities can continue even after the music dies down. A spirited celebration of music, community and togetherness, FOTSUN has come to be an annual tradition that is much awaited.
