Nach dem großen Erfolg in diesem Jahr wird Paddy mit Band auch 2024 mit seinem Publikum wieder den St. Patrick
Day in Gelnhausen nachfeiern.
Seit mehr als 30 Jahren beschallt Paddy goes to Holyhead die Bühnen in Deutschland, ja in ganz Europa. Viele Lieder wurden eigenhändig komponiert, getextet und vertont. Einige sind mittlerweile selbst zu Klassikern geworden: Far Away, Here’s To The People, The Titanic, Doolin, A Last Song – die Liste der Lieder ist genauso lang wie die Aufzählung der bekannten Bands, mit denen Paddy goes to Holyhead sich schon die Bühne teilte: The Hooters, BAP, Jethro Tull, Deep Purple, PUR und sogar die Beach Boys. Das Album „Ready For Paddy“ hielt sich in den deutschen Musikcharts und andere Alben folgten dem Beispiel. Mit Geige, Gitarre, Harmonika, Bass und Schlagzeug verzaubert das Quartett die Konzertgäste und schickt sie mit ihren Liedern und Klängen auf eine Reise zu den grünen Hügeln und Mooren Irlands, zu den grauen Arbeitervorstädten Bel…
