Ostblock Cooperative or O.B.C. is a collective of three musician friends who share a passion for groove. Influences such as jazz, gospel, hip hop and funk are an integral part of the band and electronic elements also find their way into the arrangements. All three band members grew up in Eastern European countries, which is also reflected in the pieces - but they found each other at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, where they pursued their passion for jazz standards and improvised music.
