Fascinating fascia yoga with Nicole Maio

Fasciae are soft connective tissues in the body that form the coverings of bones, muscles, organs. They are very important to us in terms of proprioception and perception of movement, and as an indicator that something is wrong. They protect us from injury if we take good care of them and keep the tissues elastic and hydrated.

In this workshop we will try different fascial techniques to care for this particular tissue and incorporate fascial exercises into our yoga routines, for example. Fascial work includes working with sounds and vibrations. You will enjoy sound bath and yin postures, which are also part of fascial yoga. We will also practice a routine that is in my book Fascinating Yoga.

This workshop is suitable for the general public as well as yoga instructors.
