The film tells the story of Gabriela Soukalová, the biggest female biathlon star in Czech history, who ranked among the best competitors in the world. The documentary follows the journey from Jablonec nad Nisou to the world throne and will allow the viewer to dive into the secrets of Gabriela's life. Secondary to this, the movie depicts the rise in popularity of this sport and her contribution to this fenomenon. She managed to become the world's most successful biathlete, but her life path was not easy. She had to overcome a lot of obstacles, but she made it to the top, becoming a World Cup winner and a multiple Olympic medalist. The film documents her rise and fall.
From the top of her sporting and social status, Gabriela found herself at the very bottom. The film documentary deals with her achievements, the end of her career and the breakup of her marriage, which became a target of public interest. What were the causes? Who is to blame? Could it have been stopped?
