Clavicule may present themselves as a garage punk quartet, but a keen ear will detect that they are much more than that. Heirs to the versatility and wild freedom of rock, the group combines the influences of each of its members in all their tracks, composing so that the whole is more than just the sum of its parts. Their love of oriental melodies and hard-hitting riffs gave birth to Garage is Dead, their debut album released in June 2020 by Rennes-based label Beast Records.
They then went on to play a string of concerts to bring the album to life, earning them their ticket onto the current French rock scene and playing alongside the likes of Johnny Mafia, Mad Foxes and We Hate You Please Die, as well as supporting international acts.
