In the abundance of summer festivals, Jazz Campus has been playing its fair share of music for over 40 years. With those who practise music, on the occasion of courses (or workshops), led by leading musicians, which irrigate both local and national amateur practices, and future great professionals.
But it is also, and above all, a sharing with a large audience - local and national - which finds itself in connivance with a programme that gives pride of place to the most innovative, mischievous or impertinent, but in any case musically indisputable, in the vast field of today's jazz music.
In one week, a dozen concerts in heritage sites in the Clunisois area will showcase the irresistible youth of an art form that is now a hundred years old...but which is far from having said its last word.
