Eddie the Eagle?s incredible flight to the 1988 Winter Olympics
Michael Edwards, or "Eddie", is thirteen years old. He lives in a small town in England. He is destined to become a plasterer, like his father and grandfather before him. But one evening, by chance, he discovers the Winter Olympics on television. In a few minutes, it was a revelation: one day, he would represent his country at this global sporting event.
But how can he compete when he comes from a country where winter sports don?t exist, when his own family opposes his choice, when he is already far behind his rivals and when he doesn?t even have the means to train?
Between humor and emotion, the three actors interpret twenty characters to tell the magnificent story of a man who became a legend. What if believing in your lucky star was the best way to achieve your dreams?
