Created in 1978, the ARMEN Festival is a renowned and popular event (sometimes more than 70 yachts compete). The name "ARMEN", a contraction of ARt MEr Neige, is of course also a nod to the lighthouse of the same name.

In addition to the rankings for each discipline: Sailing, Skiing and Art, there are three prizes to be won by competitors:

The "André Hermann" Challenge: best combined ski-sail ranking

The "René Perrier" Challenge: best combined Art-Sailing ranking

And of course, the Armen Trophy: best combined Art-Ski-Sail ranking

Note that this event counts towards the IRC Mediterranean crewed ranking.

THE MAIN PRINCIPLES OF THIS FESTIVAL :

- Honor Art during the week of the Festival.

(A work of art must be created by one of the crew members of the participating yacht on a theme defined in advance (Cf. Art competition rules). The 2024 theme: "Designing the ARMEN 2025 Festival All-Class Sailing Trophy".
