Born in Paris, Gabi Hartmann is a singer, songwriter and guitarist whose influences range from jazz and French chanson to African and Brazilian music. Her taste for travel and her research into world music have taken her to the four corners of the globe: South Africa, Brazil, Guinea, Portugal... She sings in French, English, Portuguese and Arabic, accompanied by five musicians she met in Paris and New York, where she lived a few years ago. Still in the early stages of her career, this young 31-year-old artist seems to have already lived several lives, so much so that her style is infused with nuances and varied colours, perfectly blended into a velvety voice, and so much so that her songs offer polished, poetic lyrics. Having been on stage for just over a year now, her concerts are sure to thrill audiences. This new French star is a must-see!
