The Grand Orchestre, directed by Alain GERARD, will be presenting its new repertoire at its traditional Spring concert. It's a harmony of wind instruments, accompanied by a pop/rock rhythm, in which the instrumentalists can also sing. The repertoire is both curious and daring, taking you on a journey through time, space and musical styles. The G.O. welcomes students from the school as well as amateurs wishing to practise music regularly, all in a studious, warm and relaxed atmosphere.
The Auxois Morvan School of Music and Dance is an artistic teaching establishment with four sites: Semur-en-Auxois, Précy-sous-Thil, Venarey-Les Laumes and Saulieu.
Supported by the Conseil Départemental and managed by the Syndicat Mixte Musique en Auxois Morvan, the school has around 340 students and 22 teachers.
