Compagnie Silence&Songe is in residence at Quai des Arts from June 17 to 21. On this occasion, the public is invited to a rehearsal of their upcoming show for young audiences, entitled Le temps des cendres.
Camille Hamel sees her new creation as a musical fresco to sublimate the wounds of childhood.
She is working with a number of musicians, actors, magicians and dancers, to create a complete multi-disciplinary show featuring the language of new magic. They will create living tableaux with several characters, or rather poetic representations of wounds, representing the difficulty of growing up as a child: "the one who weighs down", "the one who carries", "the one who drags", "the ones who crumble", "the one who gets damaged and glued back together", "the one who grew up too fast or askew", "the one who suffocates", "the one we don't see", etc. Molting and metamorphosis will be the main themes of the material
for costumes and sets.
