Workshop at the Ecomusée du Morvan
Plèchie workshop, morning in Uchon. Meet at 9am near the town hall.
Plèchie Month returns to the region from 1 February to 14 March 2024 with more than 30 workshops open to all!
This is an opportunity for the Park and the Association des Plècheux du Morvan to perpetuate this hedge maintenance technique, which involves cutting, laying and interlacing living branches between stakes to form a fence and encourage new growth. Practised for centuries in the Morvan, it remains a relevant practice today for preserving hedges, hedgerows, biodiversity and soil.
