Our Tram LIVE DAY is one of our most popular, with all things tram ready to roll!
MOTAT has an impressive collection of operational trams meticulously restored and maintained in our Tram Workshop. The fleet includes the stunning Tram 47, a double-decker affectionately known as 'Big Ben', a rare steam-powered Tram 100, and several Australian and New Zealand heritage electric trams.
Come and see these amazing machines, do a make-and-take of Tram 47 & Tram 100 or take a break from trams and catch a ride on the train between Sir Keith Park & Waitītiko Stations. Please keep track of your rides throughout the day with our Tram Tracker cards!
There will be loads more going on around the museum, including the Live Day classics like the Lollyman, Blacksmith, Print Shop, Little Flick, live music and heaps more!
Included in General AdmissionWe recommend starting your journey at the Aviation Hall and enjoy the free heritage tram ride between both locations.
