Accompanying the evening Festival Concerts at Geraldine Academy are some daytime workshop sessions, with the invitation to take part.
– A music and song workshop for young people, with Pete and Bonnie from GOOD HABITS after school on Friday 1 March from 3.30pm until 5 at the Academy, 79 Talbot Street. Book in by text to 021462260.
– Open session for musicians, likely interest in playing Americana, Irish and NZ tunes on varied instruments. From 10am to about 12 on Saturday 2 March. Farmers Market is on next door (for coffee, cakes, etc.) Gold coin admissionm or free to Weekend Ticket holders.
-Try out country dancing to live English folk tunes, with help from a dance caller, from 2pm until about 4 on Saturday at the Academy. Book in by text to 0211372107. Gold coin admission or free for Weekend Ticket holders.
