A weekly trade fair event in the plaza of Talisay City in front of the city’s main Chapel. Local farmers from Talisay as well as from the different municipalities of Negros Occidental gather every Friday to feature their products from fresh fruits and vegetables, ornamental plants, meat and poultry products as well as local crafts and home prepared kakanins or native delicacies. It has been a tradition for local patrons to visit and attend church service in Talisay every Friday and enjoy the trade thereafter. There are also a lot of ukay ukays or thrift shops for clothes, which is a favorite of locals who opt for affordable clothes or even fashionistas who love to treasure hunt for branded clothing without having to pay a hefty price for it. The trade often lasts the whole day but naturally it is the early birds who get to enjoy the best and freshest batch of produce.
