W odrealnonym świecie, w którym David Lynch spotyka Stephena Kinga z lekką nutką Tarantino, wszyscy bohaterowie znaleźli się tego samego wieczoru w jedynej knajpie w małej mieścinie gdzieś na odludziach środkowego zachodu USA. Każda z postaci tej opowieści zmierzy się z konsekwencjami swoich dotychczasowych (nie)moralnych wyborów i podwójnego życia jakie prowadzi.
