The Annual Asia Region Workshop for Art Educators will be hosted at TAS this year. There will be art excursions exploring the virbart art scene in Taipei, practical workshops, and sessions from local visiting artists.


ARWAE is

  • For teachers by teachers providing direct art-making application and inspiration for classroom teaching in the region.
  • A collaborative endeavor largely shaped by the host school and its unique location.
  • An event with participant driven content. The weekend is structured around a workshop ethos. Attendees participate as instructors and partners in art-making and discussion.


Schedule Outline:

Optional meet-up Thursday night

  • 8 November -Day 1 : Art Excursions - Visit Museums and Galleries in Taipei City. Connect with the vibrant art scene in Taipei.
  • 9 November- Day 2 Workshops - Workshops by art teachers for art teachers. Visiting artist workshops.
  • 10 November- Day 3: Extended Workshop(s) options for longer sessions on Sunday morning.
