The walks will be on the Saturday and Sunday one is a 10 mile walk to the Aqueduct down the canal the second is 9 miles and takes you to the Horseshoe Falls and Velvet hill then up onto the Panorama and then to Castell Dinas Bran

You will be staying In the Llangollen Hostel

We offer clean and comfortable accommodation with modern facilities, in a Victorian town house.

This is self catering tea,coffee and milk is provided and also some treats


We are located in the centre of Llangollen, a stone’s throw from the river Dee, the Llangollen Canal with its horse drawn boat rides, the Llangollen steam railway and Castell Dinas Bran. The town has an abundance of independent shops, cafe’s, bistros, pubs and restaurants. It is home to the annual International Eisteddfod, which is a festival of music, dance, and arts.


We are right next to Market Street Car Park – use postcode LL208PS – park in the top left hand corner and walk into the hostel through our back gate. Or walk to your left and round to the front of the hostel. Check-in is from 4pm. Check-out is by 10.30am.


Please make sure you bring your own hiking gear and suitable footwear


No children or dogs are allowed

You may have to pay for parking
