West Paris Public Library will showcase the exhibit "Maine Fungi,” an inspiring nature photography exhibit by Stephanie Emery, through March 31. This exhibit may be enjoyed every day the library is open at 226 Main St.
Emery is a Registered Maine Guide and owner-operator of Adventure Bus, a tour company that features hiking and camping tours to the National Parks throughout the United States. She grew up and lives in West Paris.
“I love hiking and being out in nature. I am constantly amazed at the creatures Mother Nature produces. I am certainly no expert on mushrooms, plants, birds, animals, etc., but more of a nature enthusiast. I love photographing the things I notice because it makes me slow down and notice more details,” said Emery.
Library hours are from 1:30-6 p.m. Monday and Friday, 1:30-7 p.m. Wednesday, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
