College students who are interested in learning about a career in local and state law enforcement should attend the COPS Career Opportunities and Professions Seminar hosted by the Nebraska Community College Criminal Justice Educator's Association.

This year's seminar features law enforcement agencies from the Nebraska State Patrol, Sarpy County, Omaha, Bellevue, and Council Bluffs Police Department, along with Nebraska Corrections and Probation. To allow for maximum interaction participants will be divided into small groups and rotating through the presentations and demonstrations.

What will you learn?

Learn about the agencies that are at the forefront of crime prevention, investigation, and prosecution, working tirelessly to protect communities and uphold the rule of law.

These agencies also play a vital role in rehabilitation and reintegration programs aiming to reduce recidivism and support individuals with their transition back to the community.
