Puppies and prison? How do these two go together? Join Village Books and Brigadoon Service Dogs as we take you on the transformative journey of how puppies become service dogs with the assistance of incarcerated trainers. You will get a chance to pet a puppy, see our dogs in action, and learn how vital prison programs are to producing these incredible dogs.

Brigadoon Service Dogs provides trained service dogs for veterans, children, and adults with physical, developmental, and behavioral health disabilities to promote a more independent and enriched life. Our service dogs perform tasks that help clients in need of mobility or physical assistance, PTSD, anxiety mitigation, autism assistance and more.

Admission comes with purchase of one of two books for you to keep, or a $5 voucher to Village Books and Paper Dreams:

Until Tuesday by Luis Carlos Montalván, the story of how a service dog changed the life of a wounded warrior forever.
