The Bellingham Plan: Community Vision

Housing affordability was the top issue identified by the community at the start of the Bellingham Plan project. This session will explore where gaps in the housing spectrum exist today and how local government can address those gaps with new housing types, programs, and approaches. The later Housing Types & Neighborhoods session will continue to expand on this topic.


Location: Sehome High School Commons

Time: 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.

This event will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., and you can arrive any time between 5 and 6. It will start in an open-house format, with opportunities to provide feedback and chat with staff for the first hour before transitioning into a more structured format. Around 6 p.m., participants will gather with staff to take part in organized conversations around the Housing Affordability topic. Refreshments will be provided.

Registration is optional, but when you register, you help to ensure we provide enough food, and ensure you receive helpful updates leading up to the event.
