The MSU Leadership Institute presents “Changemakers in Healthcare: Inspiring Community Through Empowerment”. This panel discussion, to be held on April 8th at 6 pm in Inspiration Hall, will focus on local changemakers in the healthcare field. Panelists will share their journeys and give insights into what it takes to create a profound impact in one’s community. Whether aspiring healthcare professionals or community members, participants will leave with leadership insights to inform their own journey and how they can empower positive change.

The panel will be moderated by MSU’s Dr. Sara Rushing, professor of political science, and will feature local leaders Stephanie McDowell, Executive Director of Bridgercare, Dr. Sally Moyce, Founder and Director of Proyecto Salud, Barla Beaudoin, Future WWAMI Med Student, and Sam Mitchell, Continuity care physician.

This panel will be a fantastic opportunity for students and community members alike to hear from some outstanding local leaders in healthcare, and how we can continue moving the field forward and continue developing our own leadership skills.
