Are you concerned about climate change and its impact on our common home, future generations, and the less fortunate? These are critical questions that demand our attention and action. We'll delve into the scientific basis of climate change and explore a range of solutions. Hear about an ecological conversion and how advocacy can help get climate legislation enacted. Then learn how youth leaders can promote environmental justice through faith founded on the principles of Laudato Si’. A light snack and beverages will be served.

Join us for an enlightening discussion featuring Dr. Philip J. Sakimoto, an astrophysicist and sustainability expert from the University of Notre Dame. Also, hear from Roger Ingersoll, a retired civil/geotechnical engineer with deep insights into the oil and gas industry, and Emma Heienickle,Texas A&M atmospheric science graduate student who’s also a passionate advocate through her work with the Catholic Climate Covenant. Thomas Marchetti, Texas A&M Biological & Agricultural Engineering graduate, will round out the discussion with an exciting LSM-TX Animator Program opportunity.
