Welcome to beautiful Rabun County, the site of our 2024 GA 9th District Republican Party Gala and Convention. This year's Convention is being held at the Dillard House Convention Center in beautiful Dillard, Georgia. You can stay on the property or at one of the surrounding hotels and enjoy the serenity and beauty of the North Georgia Mountains.

The banquet will be held on Friday, April 19, 2024, with cocktails at 6:00 PM and dinner at 6:30 PM. Our Special Guest Speaker will be Anat Sultan-Dadon, Isarel Consul General of the Consulate General of Israeli in the Southeast USA.

Anat Sultan-Dadon assumed her role as Consul General in Atlanta in July 2019

Consul General Sultan-Dadon joined the Israeli diplomatic corps in 2004 and has held various positions at the Embassies of Israel in Cameroon, Germany, the Netherlands and Australia. At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jerusalem, Sultan-Dadon has held positions in the Euro-Asia and the Asia-Pacific Divisions.

Sultan-Dadon earned a B.A. in Psychology and Education from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 1999 and a M.A. in Criminology with high honors from the same institution. In 2020, Sultan-Dadon was honored by Morehouse College with induction into the Martin Luther King Jr. International College of Ministers and Laity.

In her current role in Atlanta, Sultan-Dadon is responsible for promoting all aspects of the bilateral relations between Israel and the seven states covered by the Consulate General of Israel to the Southeast: Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee,

Tickets will go fast!!!! The cost is $75 per person, $125 per couple. Tickets are sold on a first come, first serve basis.

Our Convention will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024, with registration OPENING at 8:00 AM and CLOSING at 10:00 AM. The purpose of the convention is to elect three (3) Delegate and three (3) Delegate Alternates to the Republican National Convention and to conduct any other business necessary for the 9th District Republican Party. Cost of the Convention for Delegates/Alternates/Guests will be $35.
