The Museums of Western Colorado presents our 2024 Trips and Tours Program!

Join our expert paleontologists as we raft the black water (calm water) of the Colorado River to experience canyon geology up close. You will discover the wonder of the geologic history of western Colorado from inside the magnificent Ruby & Horsethief Canyons. Bring your shoes that will not fall off, a water bottle, wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen and bug spray. Swim or quick dry attire is encouraged. Lunch is included!

The minimum age for this event is 6 years old. All guests 16 and under must be accompanied by a paying adult. All participants must also complete and return a medical waiver before participating in our Trips and Tours Program.
