Join us for our Discover Your Soil & Unlock the Power of Dirt workshop! Join us at Cultivating Connections for a hands-on experience exploring the wonders beneath our feet with Katrina Mendrey. Learn about garden soils and maximizing plant nutritiion with an emphasis on local soil types, textures and characteristics relevant to home gardening in the Bitterroot Valley. Discover ways you can enhance your soil with organic, locally available amendments.
Instructor Katrina Mendrey has worn several hats as a garden educator and is excited to share her experience farming, gardening and growing fruit trees in the Bitterroot Valley with you! She has a M.S. in Soil Science from the University of Washington and currently owns Chapter One Book Store where she shares her passion for all living things through books.
