Take your skiing skills out of the crowded resorts and learn to splitboard or ski in the backcountry!

If you can ski or snowboard on ungroomed intermediate slopes in a resort you can go skiing or snowboarding in the backcountry! Backcountry tirst timers are welcome on this trip. Experienced backcountry riders will have fun, too! Our experienced backcountry guides will show you how to get up the hill on a splitboard, then put it together and ride the untracked snow back down. This trip is two full days of professionally guided backcountry snowboarding, with two nights in our Lassen Cabin.

If you're ready to get into the backcountry, but don't know what gear you need, or how to use it, don't worry. You can rent backcountry splitboards from us as well as all the avalanche gear you need for the weekend. We make it easy to get into backcountry snowboarding! If you've been in the backcountry before, but you want to improve your skills, this weekend is for you, too. We'll help you improve y…
