Join us April 20th at 7 pm for an amazing tribute to the one and only Alabama band… Songs of the South!
Songs of the South - a tribute to Alabama formed in 2019. Composed of 5 members from the Mountains of Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. Members include Wayne Kelley on lead vocals/rhythm guitar, Jerry Hanger drums/vocals, Mike Thacker lead guitar/vocals, Daniel Thacker bass/vocals, Don Stevens lead guitar, keyboards, fiddle and vocals.
This group has been performing together for over 20 years and have played over 1500 shows. Their goal is to put on a show that is energetic, upbeat, and takes you back to when you heard these songs for the first time. They’ll want to make you clap, dance, sing along, and leave you wanting more. Everyone in the crowd will be on their feet!
This show goes non-stop! It includes many #1 hits with a touch of comedy that lets you get to know the band on a personal level. It will be a night to remember with the ultimate tribute to Alabama!

Tickets can also be purchased with cash or check at ACE in Mitchell or at the ticket booth the night of the event with cash, check, or card!
Tickets are $30 for adults and $15 for kids 12 and under.
Mitchell Opera House is handicap accessible.
Food and drinks are not permitted in the auditorium.
All seating is first come, first served.
Doors open at 6:15 p.m.
