A collaboration between Faith Regional Child Advocacy Center, Northeast Community College Department of Criminal Justice, and Bright Horizons to provide a professional development summit for investigative and treatment professionals working with victims of crime to learn about the impacts of family violence on our communities and children.
This event welcomes human service professionals working with children and families to address family violence. Human service professionals include child welfare, law enforcement, prosecutors, mental health providers, probation and parole officers, in-home service providers, advocates, first responders, medical professionals, and anyone serving children and families who may experience violence. We are excited to bring national and local experts in the fields of domestic violence, child abuse, and sexual assault to provide high quality workshops addressing family violence in our communities.
This exceptional TWO-DAY event is being offered in two registration options – Choose One Day for $75 or Two Days for $100
Breakfast and Lunch are offered on both days as part of registration.

April 16, 2024 Keynote Presentation features Bill Fulbright, the Ravalli County Attorney.
Bill Fulbright is the elected County Attorney in Ravalli County, Montana. Bill has prosecuted crimes against children for more than two decades, working with sexual assault victims testifying at trial as young as 4 years old, and child physical abuse victims as young as 7 weeks old. He is a founding member of the area’s first Multi-Disciplinary Team, its Children’s Advocacy Center, and the local CASA program.
Bill regularly trains prosecutors, law enforcement, and health care providers on investigating and prosecuting child abuse, and was recognized as Montana’s 2007 Prosecutor of the Year. He is a 1988 graduate of Willamette University School of Law and Graduate School of Management. For recreation, Bill coaches high school basketball.
April 17, 2024 Keynote Presentation features Aubrey Yost, the Anti-Trafficking and Exploitation Specialist at BraveBe Child Advocacy Center.
For over nine years, Aubrey has dedicated herself to serving children and families in the aftermath of trauma, at BraveBe Child Advocacy Center. Her role as the center’s Anti-Trafficking & Exploitation Specialist involves direct engagement with youth who have experienced trafficking victimization and youth who are potentially at high-risk of victimization and her expertise and compassion made significant impacts. Aubrey is a survivor and serves as a survivor leader. Aubrey has shared her insights and knowledge by presenting both at local and national levels, contributing her expertise to wider discussions on supporting survivors and combatting exploitation.
Aubrey Yost, proudly from Lincoln, Nebraska, is a passionate individual dedicated to the field of Social Work. She earned her bachelor’s degree in social work from Nebraska Wesleyan University, and she is currently immersed in the Master of Social Work program at the same institution, poised to graduate in May. Aubrey’s academic journey reflects her unwavering commitment to making a profound impact in the community.

A block of rooms has been reserved at a special rate at Norfolk Lodge and Suites, located on the far west end of Norfolk, 4200 W Norfolk Avenue, Norfolk, NE 68701. Check in will begin at 4pm. Check out will be at 11am the day of departure.
All reservations will need to be made by Friday March 15, 2024 to qualify for your group block.
Rate will be going up in 2024 to the rate of $110 plus tax per room per night.
They serve a hot breakfast each morning from 6:00am to 9:30am. We offer an indoor heated pool, spa and exercise room. The Sandbar is our on site restaurant including room service.

Scholarship Information: The planning committee is excited to be able to offer scholarships for professionals needing financial assistance for registration fees. Requests for assistance are made through a simple application to the Planning Committee. Those receiving a scholarship will be notified by March 1, 2024. Please make sure you have your supervisor’s permission to attend prior to applying for a scholarship. In the event that you accept a scholarship and are unable to attend the event, you may be invoiced for the cost of your registration. Continuing Education Information: Conference Attendees will be issued a certificate of attendance at the conclusion of the event.
The Nebraska Crime Commission has approved all sessions for County Attorney CLEs and Crimes Against Children hours.
