Learn the basics of creating jar candles using 100% soy wax and fragrances infused with essential oils. You'll learn how to blend fragrances to create your own unique scent, melt and pour candle wax, and find the right materials to make long-lasting, strong-smelling and clean-burning candles. You'll walk away with a 10 oz candle (to be picked up 2-3 days after class, or shipped to you for a $8 fee).
Important: Though you don't have to add fragrance to your candle, others in the class likely will. Fragrance oil is very strong, and the scent carries far; please keep in mind if you are sensitive to smells.

Lauren Chunias is a candle maker with a passion for designing scents and pouring candles. She loves the way that scents can evoke memories and transport you to a different place, and can't wait to share that art with you.
