Roundup Independence Days Extravaganza (R.I.D.E.) 2024

Location: Roundup City Park

Address: 401 8th Ave East, Roundup, MT 59072

Date: 4 Jul

With a veterans parade that marches down our mile long main street, a professional firework show and two nights of headlining acts, you wont want to miss RIDE.

Ned Ledoux: One of the most incredible things about great music is that it has the ability to take the listener to a place they’d rather be. A compelling song can carry someone back in time to a treasured memory, or transport a person to a spectacular western prairie they’ve only visited in their dreams. Ned LeDoux’s music has that kind of power. As a songwriter, he has a knack for bringing people, places and emotions vibrantly to life with his insightful lyrics, and warm, strong voice that makes him sound like a beloved friend you always want to hang out with. Those gifts are fully on display on LeDoux’s new album Buckskin. “I’m writing my own story and if people take a liking to it, that’s wonderful,” says LeDoux. “As long as I’m writing from the heart, and writing about what I know, I can definitely listen back to it and be proud.”

On his third full-length album, LeDoux again delivers songs that transcend mere entertainment to celebrate a life that many aspire to, but few actually live. Like his father, LeDoux’s music is as expansive as the western sky he was raised under and celebrates the ranch lifestyle that is such an integral part of his heritage. There’s an authenticity to his songs that brings our nation’s beloved western culture to life, even for listener’s who’ve never ventured onto the Great Plains. “I’m proud to carry on the tradition and a lot of songs that I write are going to relate with songs that my dad wrote and recorded because I lived the same life,” the young singer/songwriter says.

Rodney Atkins: Rodney Atkins is as authentic as they come. Whether he’s working on his land, spending time with his family, or entertaining thousands of fans with one of his many mega-hits, Atkins expresses a refreshing simplicity and sincerity that reflects the values he holds so dear: Putting family first, making the most of what you have, and staying true to yourself in a rapidly-changing world. When he’s not in the studio working on new music, Rodney is working hard out on the road, connecting with loyal fans in cities across the country. An avid supporter of our military, with over 14 million records sold, over 1.5 billion on-demand streams, and multiple #1’s, Atkins has become a backbone of country music. Rodney entered the Country charts in 1997 with "In a Heartbeat", and reached top 40 in 2002. His first top 5 hit, "Honesty (Write Me a List)", came in 2003. Then Atkins charted four straight number 1 singles: "If You're Going Through Hell (Before the Devil Even Knows)", "Watching You", "These Are My People" and "Cleaning This Gun (Come On In Boy)", all from his second album, If You're Going Through Hell. It's America (2009) and Take a Back Road (2011) also included three number 1 singles.

RIDE will once again bring back the popular Midway West Carnival.

There’s going to be great fireworks by Roundup Skylighters and Montana Poor Boy Pyrotechnics, Kids Kountry, Top Shot Competition, a RIDE golf tournament, vendors and more! See you at the Christmas Stroll and see you at RIDE 2023! It’s going to be great fun!

This year's agenda will be packed full of activities for the entire family. See the most up to date agenda at www.roundupride.com.
