Ski with a Naturalist with GARNA at Monarch Mountain Join GARNA for a free naturalist tour every other Friday at 11am to learn about forest ecology, wildlife in the winter, the history of recreation on Monarch Pass and the partnership of the USFS and Monarch. A guest volunteer interpreter leads the tour, sharing additional information from their area of expertise. The tour is free, a valid lift ticket/pass is required. Dates: February 2, 16, March 1, 15 Have you ever wondered… Who owns the land we’re skiing/boarding on? When did Monarch open and what is the oldest run?
