Attend one of our tours to learn more about these amazing birds which were once facing certain extinction. Whether you are a birder at heart, or becoming one, we know you will enjoy the tour and will leave with a greater appreciation of the Greater Prairie Chicken.
The tour includes evening orientation at the Wray Museum with educational & historical background on the Greater Prairie Chicken; early morning viewing in a comfortable blind with a Colorado Division of Parks and Wildlife officer; and a ranch style breakfast at the headquarters of the Kitzmiller Grazing Association.
Friday | 6:30 PM | Orientation @ Wray Museum
Orientation and check-in is mandatory and lasts for approximately 1 hour. During this time you will be checked in to your tour and be given an overview of what to expect by the staff and Colorado Division of Wildlife as well as your expected departure time for your tour the morning of the viewing.
