Weather widget on Desktop?

Windows 10 - desktop weather gaget no internet connection

My weather gadget on the desktop says no internet connection. I tryed to reinstall the app. now it says the same and cannot even find the zip code for my city.

I tried lots of things but in the end, I ran vivetool's feature scanner on my windows 10 system, which took hours and downloaded around 38GB of symbols.
