Edible Play Sand for Toddlers with Cheerios

Kids can be pretty curious. And at some point or another most toddlers shove a chubby fistful of sand or dirt into their mouth.

Taste-safe sensory play sand that is the perfect rainy day activity for toddlers and kids! Also a great way to use stale cereal!

The basic toddler-safe sand recipe is 8 parts whole-wheat flour to 1 part vegetable oil. We started out with 4 cups flour and 1/2 cup vegetable oil.
