The multilayer nature of ecological networks
The emergent field of 'multilayer networks' provides a natural framework for extending analyses of ecological systems to include such multiple ...
When is an ecological network complex? Connectance drives ...
In this contribution, we use a statistical argument and simple network generating models to show that properties of the degree distribution are driven by ...
Ecological Networks in a Changing Climate - ScienceDirect.com
We evaluate the possibility that a few principal drivers underpin network-level responses to climate change, and that these drivers can be studied.
Ecological Networks - Oxford Bibliographies

Ecological network
An ecological network is a representation of the biotic interactions in an ecosystem, in which species are connected by pairwise interactions. These interactions can be trophic or symbiotic.
Long Term Ecological Research Network
The Long Term Ecological Research Network consists of a group of over 1800 scientists and students studying ecological processes over extended temporal and spatial scales. Twenty-eight LTER sites cover a diverse set of ecosystems. It is part of the International Long Term Ecological Research Network. The LTER Program was established in 1980 and is funded by the U.S. National Science Foundation.
Ecological footprint
The ecological footprint measures human demand on natural capital, i.e. the quantity of nature it takes to support people and their economies. It tracks human demand on nature through an ecological accounting system.
