TOAD for Oracle 12.12 Exporting to Excel File error

I just tried exporting 60k to an Excel file from the Schema Browser and it worked fine with Excel 2010 (64 bit Toad 12.12).

Okay so I ran a few different scenarios and figured out why it was crashing. It was due to one thing: saving the excel file as .xls.
