This project features a unique encounter between Xavier Desandre-Navarre?s jazz trio, In Pulse, and the Orchestre Régional de Normandie.
A seasoned percussionist nicknamed "Le Sorcier" by his peers, Xavier Desandre-Navarre?s compositions unfold a colorful universe rooted in the heart of the world. His music draws on non-European rhythms and multiple influences, combined with the pulse of jazz.
It is this spirit of openness to the world, combined with the musicians of In Pulse and the Orchestre de Normandie, that we find in this creation, which brings together Xavier Desandre-Navarre on percussion, Emil Spanyi on piano, Stéphane Kerecki on double bass and the Orchestra led by its principal conductor Jean Deroyer.
